Fortnite scrims FAQ
What are Fortnite scrims?
Scrims (short for scrimmages) are organised practice games. Players or teams join a private custom lobby with set rules and scoring, so they can rehearse tournament conditions against real competition.
Are customs and scrims the same thing?
In the community the words are used almost interchangeably: “customs” are Fortnite custom-game lobbies, and “scrims” are customs run as organised practice with a scoring system. Velor Practice runs both.
What does Velor Practice offer compared with other scrim servers?
Daily No Zone Rules sessions, live drop maps, per-role priority registration, session leaderboards and a prizepool that pays real cash to top placements — all managed from one website and one Discord server.
Can I play on Velor alongside other practice servers?
Yes. Velor sessions are independent, so you can register here in addition to any other Fortnite practice server you already use.
Is Velor Practice affiliated with Epic Games?
No. Velor Practice is an independent community and is not affiliated with Epic Games. Fortnite is a trademark of Epic Games, Inc.
